Yikes, I totally missed thecaptain Hazard tip and went for van Persie. I feel left out now. He lost points missing that PK. Good thing he went for a hattrick to make up for it 8)

Quite happy that i ditched vd Vaart after round 1 too. One has to say up to this point that it's a tough league to predict though. One weeks winner are the next week`s losers. (Or I am missing the big picture). Guess. It takes some time for Man U, City and Chelsea to get a gap.

Well, try harder next time and remember — Kril will never steer you wrong.

To make up for it, you may go ahead and captain Hazard this coming weekend, during the international break. :D

I loved how RvP's bounty crashed the FPL site yesterday — LOL, ALL those wildcards/transfers going off!
So, is RvP now essential? Or was that a one-off? Rooney due back in a couple gameweeks, does
that take (missed) pens away from RvP?

____

Gah, punked by the punk. Sundae's Tea Cozies edged me out with a late goal by Ben Arfa.
(he should've been a 2, not a 9, dammit)

That'll teach me to shoot my mouth off with meaningless, embarrassing trash talk, won't it?*

*No.

We can't all be winners, can we? :yahoo:

( :slaphead: )

I hate international breaks, by the way. Also, RVP is so highly priced right now that I honestly DON'T think he's worth it. I think you can still put together a perfectly good team without spending at least :chin: $13.5 :chin: on a striker. (Remember - a player can only go up $0.1 per day, and we've got a two-week gap here. A good 200,000 people are going to add him in now, at least.)

I don't think the $4 he costs over, for example, Tevez, is going to be better spent there than on adding in a Hazard / Kagawa / Cazorla midfield, for example.

I could totally be wrong. Buuuuut... I'm never wrong. Others just haven't waited long enough for my answer to be right yet. :tease:

Edit: TEAM VALUE: $103.0 :yahoo:

I'm not quite sure what I spent on RvP, but I have him since week 1 so he was only 13m ;) That's what you get for being dutch. (Granted, I did get Heitinga too... that's what you get for being dutch :( )

Still far off 73 or 117 points.. madness the squads some put up there :/

Fresh in from the "You Can't Make This %&$# Up" Dept. — news of joeybarton.com!

QUOTE OF THE DAY
joeybarton.com wrote:"There's a bit of a media spotlight on me so if we go down, I'm going to take a lot of sh*t.

— in an interview with GQ Style, former Queens Park Rangers captain Joey Barton reveals that the small,
impulsive hairy ape that resides inside his head is actually to blame for that sending-off against Manchester City.

Yay! Footie returns in 3 days! :D

Kagawa is at 50% now, and current rumor is on a leg injury for RvP. Supposedly not serious, but he did have to leave the international game.

Good grief, today is apparently "Unusual Scorer Day". I don't see this being a high scoring week for most. :D

Yeah, check out that score-line for Arsenal.

Side note: Haha Kril. You got screwed even worse than I thought on that Captain thing.

Shocking gameweek — just thankful it seems to be hitting everybody.

Captain fail = RvP benching made worse by Ferguson not leaving him on the bench in a game that was well in hand. Gah!

I may be dodging it somewhat though, as two bench doodz will bring me +15 pts at least.
(Nihilist has lovely Southhampton's Clyne coming on with a nice fat –3!)

You and me both need to change out a midfielder and a striker, don't we, Nihilist?
(done and done! I'm in the hits already for next week, but should enjoy a nice £ rise)

Cue teh Berbawagon!

He was so in-form today, I bet he smoked two packs right before the match...

@ Sunday: Hope Ba scores a BAttload of points Monday, but remains stuck to your bench 'cause you favored Lambert!

Off to see what the hell Loserpool are up to now at Sunderland, I remain,

Okay, honestly now: I seriously *did* switch in Berbatov just now. Not even making that up. Guy's worth a shot, and with Newcastle so badly injured right now, I've dropped Ba. :P

I stand by my Lambert. :) I will, however, drop Lalanna in the future. He's really impressive, but the rest of Southampton can't get out of their own way long enough to do anything.

They certainly didn't get in the way of any shots headed into their net... heh
And their keystone cops own-goal routine has made Kieran Gibbs appear… desirable?

Steven Fletcher with another strike today — 3 goals in two games for Sunderland's franchise-record transfer.
Hmm.

Only Spurs vs Reading and Newcastle vs Everton to go now.

Done and done.

SAF can do one with his freaking rotation policy.

Having said that, no way is RVP sitting on the bench for 'pool away, especially after Chicharito missed a penalty last game.

Is my keeper going to finish the week as my highest scorer? QQ.
