Tomorrow (thursday evening) arround 17:00 Dutch time (11:00 NewYork time) the forums will be down for about an hour.
This due to server hardware change,
sorry for the inconvenience.

The migration went quite well,
some minor thing need to follow,
but these are less sensitive to outage

The Teamspeak server will be moved this week,
the new server is alreay running at : server1.fng-community.com
if using the server name is resulting in error, you may use : 78.47.145.26

You can use same login name and passwords as before.

Some ppl have experienced problems with the Teamspeak server change,
their username/password combination failed.

For the time being you can try to login 'anonymous' with the password listed in our 'Read Only' Section.<Here>

Contact one of the admins, and ask them to remove you current account from the Teamspeak admin site,
next step is, any of the registered users on TS can allow you new registration, after you've logged on as 'anonymous'.

Somehow the conversion of MySQL back to SQLite didn't go properly.

Some of you may already have noticed,
but the mailserver used for the forums is atm unable to sendmail towards hotmail users.
Other destinations are fine, but hotmail just seems to fail,
occassianaly some mails get thru somehow, but that's more an exception.

Still trying to figure out where the problem resides, first thought was recursive dns, but that seems all proper set..

We have setup a new server ready to host the FnG stuff,
at this moment some of the webpages are already running on the new server
- http://www.fng-community.com
- stats.fng-comunity.com

Also ready and active on the new server are :
- TeamSpeak [plz add this one to your TS server list (right click on the current server => clone => change either the servername or the IP addres, so no need to remember passwords this way :P) ]
- UT2k4 server
- CoD4 server
- TF2 server
- UT3 server
- ftp server
- redirect server

Still te be transferred :
- forums (webserver prepared, only data transfer, and dns change)
- missiondb
- chat
- mail (mail server is prepared, only dns change)

Servers that are copied but not running: [proly not nessasary]
- CoD5 (WaW)
- SAS3.2

During the transistion of the forums to the new server, the forums on the old server will be set read only,
and as soon as the DNS caching has timed out (about 1 hour), the new forums will be reachable.

It seems to be working here from my point of view . . or pc that is.

The migration is finished, a good thing I can't read clocks in the early morning,
so started at 7-ish.
The forums have not experience any severe trauma , so I take it you all can abuse it at will.

Some more info about the server move.

To be able to use Teamspeak and play on UT2k4, CoD4, TF2 and UT3, you will have to change the URL or IP address in your favorites

IP to ues : 188.40.40.165

feel free to review the changes and apply your settings where needed.
